I've decided to get rid of the stock speakers in my car. Starting with the two, yes two, busted ones in the rear. I've replaced them with some Pioneer's.
They're some 6"x8" three ways with 240 watts of max power. They're ok. Now I need to replace my front speakers, because these new ones make those sound shitty.
I'm then going to tackle a subwoofer. I don't need much power. I've got a small Ford Escort. I also would like to skip the hassle of having to buy a woofer, encloser, and amp. Thus, I'm leaning towards one of those nifty powered woofers. I looked at the bazooka tube. No thanks. I'm leaning toward Infiniti's Basslink.
It's only 10 inches and 200 watts. Though, it should be good enough. I think. I don't want to be heard miles down the road with a 1000 or even 800 watt woofer like Jared has.
Anyway, it was a bitch to get that shit out and then put everything back in. I learned a lot about how to undo my car and take out my speakers, splice the wires, then put the new speaker and the old wires together. Nice learning experience.
I'm tired. I have work tomorrow. Goodnight.

I'm still in Hitler mode for some reason. Watching that movie did me in for a while, I guess.
I thought this was amusing, it'll probably only be amusing to me, but this is my journal, so eat a dick.
Wednesday, I had an electronics quiz with the self-proclaimed "benevolent dictator" a.k.a. - Dr. Massiha. That's Dr. Gholam H. Massiha. He's from Iran. Hence the dictator bit--his own words, mind you. Well, this is what the guy looks like:
He's a pint sized guy with a serious case of the Napoleon Complex.
At any rate, I know what the fuck I'm doing in the class and so do a few others, and as such we get along with the dictator quite well. The class is two hours long, so we took the quiz, then went out in the hall to bullshit with each other while we waited for the second half of class. Well, Dr. Massiha comes up and starts bullshitting with us. He starts talking about cell phones and asking what kind we have and whatever. He then tells us that he's going back to his office to get some shit, then he'd be back to get us to start class. Well, as he turned around, all three of us do the Hitler salute thing (the lift up your foot-stomp it down-raise your hand, "Heil Hitler" motion). It was funny because we all did it at the same time with no previous mention about it among us. It just worked. It worked because Dr. Massiha is just that bad ass, and by bad ass I mean he's just that Mahmoud Ahmadinejad (just a wee bit more sane).
That is all.

Like Russ said, Der Untergang or Downfall (translated) is a great film. Bruno Ganz does an amazing job portraying one of the most infamous men in history.
I highly recommend this film. :tumbs up:

Well, for the first time in a few weeks, things are looking on the up and up. I'm done mid terms and there's only a month and a couple weeks of school left. My ex, Traci, is coming spend the weekend this weekend. We've built a stronger relationship since we've broken up and since the last time she visited. I'm pretty excited about it. We're going to go ice skating, etc. It's going to be tons of fun. Work is boring as ever and the only thing stopping me from quitting is the fact that it's so easy. They basically pay me to walk around and help people find crap. But yeah, I'm going eat and then going to said work. So later.
